How The Follow Up Firm handles information from the consultation form and the Business Support Finder.
Who we are
This policy describes how The Follow Up Firm ("we," "us") handles information gathered through www.thefollowupfirm.com. Contact: emily@thefollowupfirm.com · 888-780-7254.
What we collect
Consultation and contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number and company name, your industry, your support needs, your preferred contact method, your consent checkbox, and — if you used our Business Support Finder — a copy of the brief it generated for you. Business Support Finder: the answers you enter are sent to an AI service to generate your recommendations. Your intake answers are not saved as a business record unless you attach the brief to a consultation request. To prevent abuse, a hashed request identifier, timestamps and basic request counts are recorded. Basic technical logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and operation.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not send marketing email lists. We have not installed advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Please do not send credentials or confidential client information through the form or the Finder.
Where your information lives
Consultation requests are stored in our secured, access-controlled website database. They are not publicly readable; only The Follow Up Firm can access them.
How we use it
We use your information to review and respond to your request, prepare a proposal or discovery call, and keep a record of the conversation. We use the Finder's AI service only to generate the recommendations you asked for.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that operate this website and its AI feature (hosting, database and AI processing). These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the site. Scheduling links on this site (for example, our booking calendar) take you to a third-party service governed by that provider's own privacy policy.
Retention
We keep consultation requests for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable follow-up period. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing emily@thefollowupfirm.com.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to be contacted — just email us.
Children
This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
